Products
Imported from Italy
In our assortment, you will find hundreds of wines from 60 winemakers from almost all Italian regions and hundreds of other regional products such as cheeses, prosciutto, salami, olive oil, pasta, coffee, or sweets from small family producers and manufacturers. Everything we offer, we personally select and import directly from the producers. Fresh goods are stocked regularly every week. Most of our products have protected designations of origin and organic certificates or naturally meet organic standards because they are produced with respect for nature and traditions and from regional ingredients. It is important to us that food is healthy, of high quality, respects biodiversity, seasonality, and the sustainability of our planet. Besides well-known Italian products, you can also find interesting regional rarities produced in very limited quantities or only seasonally.
Made by us
Some products are best made directly at the place of sale. That is why we make bread, salads, panini, pizza dough, fresh pasta, gelato, and desserts ourselves. In production, we use traditional Italian recipes and place great emphasis on honest craftsmanship, freshness, seasonality, origin of ingredients, quality, and sustainability. We bake new generation bread daily, where the main protagonist is flour from non-modified old varieties of grain grown in strictly ecological areas, mostly in the mountains, cared for according to old principles and not contaminated with artificial fertilizers. Bread from this flour is unusually aromatic and very rich in nutrients and vitamins. For these grains, we never use common yeast for leavening, but sourdough, which often arises using bran left over from milling the grain.
Our Bakery Principles
1. We are artisan bakers. 2. Every day we bake bread by hand with just four ingredients: flour, water, sourdough, and salt. 3. We exclusively use Italian flour from small artisan producers, mostly organic. 4. We prefer slow, natural fermentation for our sourdough, making our bread more digestible. 5. The smell of freshly baked bread drives us crazy. We absolutely love it. 6. We honor Italian baking heritage, following traditional recipes. 7. Pane & olio is a classic Italian way to enjoy bread. Try it with good olive oil! 8. Bread is a fundamental part of human culture, which is why we oppose industrial, ultra-processed bread. 9. Daily baking of fresh bread requires great effort, but we do it with passion and pride. 10. Some of our breads taste even better the next day, so be careful not to waste them. 11. Do not throw away old bread; it can be used to prepare excellent dishes like panzanella or pappa al pomodoro. 12. We love to create and experiment with the most famous Italian bread product: pizza. We use only the best ingredients and adore freshly baked pizza with organic mozzarella and tomatoes. 13. All our paninis are made from our own bread, and that is the biggest difference.
