We know our suppliers personally

Our suppliers are mostly small family producers of traditional Italian foods and wines. They are located throughout Italy and specialize in typical regional products according to the climate and traditions – cheeses, prosciutto, salami, olive oil, pasta, wine, and other Italian products. They produce locally, sustainably, in limited quantities, and without unnecessary chemicals, with respect for animals and the natural rhythms of nature. They are not just producers, but also breeders or growers who handle the entire production process from A to Z: cheese makers raise their own animals because quality grass grazing and good living conditions are essential for the quality of milk and cheese; winemakers harvest grapes only from their own vineyards and do not buy them elsewhere; oil producers press olives that they have grown and hand-picked in their own groves.

Craftsmanship (artigianalita) is not a style, it is a way of life

No anonymous industrial giants producing millions of uniform products full of preservatives. Our suppliers are people with faces and stories, for whom honest craftsmanship is a way of life and healthy, clean, quality products are a matter of course. They not only care about production, but also about preserving biological diversity and minimizing the impact of their production. To be one hundred percent sure that we are on the same wavelength, we visit them personally, peek into their stables and workshops, ask questions, and taste all their products, because taste is more important than appearance. We are friends and it is important to us that our suppliers, along with customers and employees, become part of one big family of enthusiasts for good food and wine.

The Italians team consists of a diverse group of people who share a love for good food and wine. Together, we deepen our knowledge of products, taste, train, and organize study trips to suppliers in Italy. We enjoy sharing the acquired information, experiences, and knowledge with customers and strive for them to enjoy the world of Italian gastronomy as much as we do.

Our squadra not only sells with gusto but also produces because, let us be honest, not only bread and cornetto are best freshly baked. Our bakers, confectioners, pasta makers, pizza makers, and chefs prepare Italian classics, their modern variants, and regional specialties daily from fresh ingredients and learn from the best masters.

We like customers who care about what they eat and drink

We believe that healthy and tasty food is our choice. We are always pleased when customers are interested in what they eat and drink, where the contents of their plates and glasses come from, how and by whom it was produced. We value people who, like us, refuse to support caged farming, ultra-processed foods with no value, and endless fields full of pesticides.
