Ignaz Niedrist, unlike most winemakers in Alto Adige, is not part of a cooperative. He does not care much for modern technology, and when he checks on the wines fermenting in wooden vats, he prefers to trust his senses and experience. The reward is perfectly balanced full wines, making him one of the most respected small winemakers in Alto Adige.
