Rice
We cooperate with rice growers who have been in this craft for several generations. They grow Arborio, Carnaroli, and Vialone Nano rice in traditional rice fields in the Po Valley, which is flooded every year with mountain water from the Alps. They emphasize sustainability and biodiversity conservation; their rice fields are a large ecosystem teeming with life. They continuously innovate traditional practices and develop new methods of processing rice to retain as many nutrients as possible.
