Varvaglione
The Varvaglione family, now in its third generation, cultivates mainly local varieties such as Primitivo, Negroamaro, and Malvasia Nera on their vineyards. With their sensitive approach, they have elevated these previously undervalued varieties to the stars of the south. Their vineyards are located near the town of Leporano, where wine was already being cultivated in the 18th century for Pope Benedict XIII.
