Carlo Hauner

Carlo Hauner and his family operate north of Sicily on islands called the Aeolian Islands, which are of volcanic origin. On two of them (Salina and Vulcano), he grows wine, which the local soil expelled from the volcano gives something exceptional. In every drop, there is a story of ancient fires, the dance of lava and life. Both white, red, and dessert wines have this volcanic character that grows from the ashes. The uninitiated will be surprised by the freshness and drinkability of Hauner's wines.
