Monte Jugo

The Ciambella family from the organic farm Monte Jugo raises 500 goats of the Saanen breed, from whose milk they produce exquisite, differently matured cheeses. The herds graze in the wild and receive grain as a supplement, which the family grows organically in volcanic soil full of thermal springs on the Palanzana plateau. Therefore, this grain has a unique aroma and taste, and it does not end up only in the stomachs of the goats, but is also milled into excellent nutritious flour.
