The Nonino family elevated grappa from a drink that farmers in northern Italy would use to warm themselves on cold days to the queen of spirits. They were also the first to create a distillate from grape must and the first single-vineyard grappa cru. In 2019, the Nonino family made an indelible mark in history when Wine Enthusiast awarded their distillery the title of "best distillery in the world." Today, the Nonino family has successfully ventured into collaborations with the world's best bartenders to mix their distillates into innovative cocktails. And what happened? We discovered a new dimension of using grappa, not as traditionally known, but youthful and cheerful.
